KHP Officer Struck on I-470

Earlier today, a Kansas Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Inspector was involved in a two-vehicle crash on I-470 in the Topeka area. The crash occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m., on eastbound I-470, between Gage and Fairlawn. The KHP officer was sitting stationary in the median, facing east, when he was rear-ended.
