The new class of Kansas Highway Patrol troopers graduated from the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy on Tuesday, November 23rd in Salina, Kansas.
Unfortunately, Class #61 was not able to have the traditional recruit graduation and the ceremony was kept private.
KHP Recruit Class #61 began 24 weeks of training on Wednesday, June 16th at the Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy. The Patrol’s seven newest troopers will enter the field training phase of the training program.
New troopers will be stationed in the following counties:
Troop A | Johnson County/Wyandotte County
| Two troopers |
Troop C | Saline County | One trooper |
Troop F | Sedgwick County | One trooper |
Troop K | Shawnee County | One Capitol Police officer |
