Around 11:53PM on 9/27/19, a female pedestrian had been walking northbound on I-35. An additional call had found that the female pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle, or vehicles at approximately midnight on 9/28/19, and was in the roadway on I-35 in Kansas City, KS. The female pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Kansas Highway Patrol is asking for anyone who may be familiar with this female, or who may have seen this collision occur to please contact KHP as soon as possible.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is preparing for the impending winter storm that will be affecting the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Due to the predicted snowfall amounts, the Kansas Highway Patrol will be towing any abandoned vehicles from the shoulders of the interstates and highways beginning 12pm tomorrow, March 2, 2019.
