Troop B
Headquartered in Topeka, Troop B consists of 12 counties in northeast Kansas. Like the metro areas in Troop A, Troop C, and Troop F, Troop B has Motorist Assistance Technicians to help stranded drivers, allowing troopers to focus more on traffic enforcement and criminal interdiction.
Members of Troop B often work with Capitol Police and the Protective Services Bureau on special events in the Kansas Statehouse, including inaugurations, visits from dignitaries, and rallies.
